AirB&B, The Artists Cotswolds garden Cottage

This was my first AirB&B stay. I was sceptical when my husband wanted to stay somewhere from there. I just thought it was some hippie fad. People renting out shabby rooms for a quick buck? But regardless of that, I also thought it’s a delicious insight into people’s worlds whilst staying in some stunning quirky locations. And I love new experiences!

The Big Feastival and 10 reasons you should go

My husband I were determined to get to a festival this year but normal festivals are a no-go now we have our 6mnth daughter Mildred. From our experiences we have found that there is a lot of drugs, swearing and urine throwing at the average summer fest, no place for a baby. However we just wouldn’t want to go to a festival without her now!!  so we found an amazing children friendly feastival. Even if you don’t have children its still a great event.

Read on for more details of The Big Feastival and 10 reasons why you should go.

I never wear make up (unless on a night out) so I rely on my skin looking and feeling as great. So I can go about my day to day activities feeling confident and naturally attractive and well maintained. My favourite part of my ultimate luxury skincare regime is the 24karat gold monthly mask!! Depression and Bulimia

depression and bulimia

I question myself all the time wether I should be so open about my depression and bulimia. What are the pros and the cons? Strong arguments for both cases in my head…..

Mostly I worry people will think Im weird or think less of me. But thats what spurs me on. People shouldn’t think less of someone because they have mental health challenges.

But mostly Im doing it purely because thats who I am. I’m honest and wear my heart on my sleeve. And I believe we shouldn’t have to hide or pretend who we are. Continue Reading

The National Entertainment Awards

The National Entertainment Awards

Pulling into the busy car park in the early afternoon, at the civic hall in Grays Essex, I feel the buoyancy in the atmosphere. I pull up and absorb my surroundings. The rejoicing of children and teenagers as they run across the car park to the venue, laughter from the adults as they converse in conversation.

I’m at The National Entertainment Awards, which recognises and rewards creative talents in the music and dance industry, for their hard work and dedication. Continue Reading
